Our emergency safehouse offers a secure, confidential environment where survivors can begin to recover while focusing on their immediate safety. Residents receive access to a safe place to stay, nutritious meals, clothing, personal care items, transportation assistance, and compassionate support from trained advocates.
Whether you are seeking help for yourself or someone you love, our goal is to provide a safe place where healing can begin.
Every survivor's situation is unique. Our advocates work one-on-one with residents to develop individualized safety plans, navigate available resources, and connect them with legal assistance, counseling, healthcare providers, financial resources, employment services, children's services, and long-term housing opportunities.
We are committed to helping survivors regain stability, independence, and hope.
For individuals facing ongoing danger, Latimer House can coordinate emergency relocation and help develop a personalized plan for long-term safety. Our advocates assist with emergency transportation, relocation planning, referrals, and connections to housing resources throughout Mesa, Montrose, Delta, and Ouray counties.
No one should have to remain in an unsafe environment. We are here to help you move toward safety, stability, and a future free from violence.
